Adaptive Cognitive Systems (ACS) http://www.adcogsys.com is a stable and
small start-up company, founded in 2006, seeking an exceptionally reliable,
diligent, and experienced research programmer to assist with human-computer
interaction research. ACS has a current contract with the Naval Air Warfare
Center (NAVAIR), and ongoing collaborations with university partners positions
ACS as a leader in the emerging cognitive modeling software domain. The work is
fascinating!

Minimum Requirements:

-Four year college degree in Computer Science or related
field.

-2 years experience working as a Research Programmer
-Solid Common LISP skills, and experience in C++ and Java -Solid mathematical
skills -Professional level technical writing skills -Experience with completing
data analyses and preparing and presenting summary charts, graphs, and reports
-In depth understanding of Object Oriented concepts -Interest in virtual
environments, gaming, and artificial intelligence -Experience with computer
technology, including basic computer setup and maintenance -Exceptional work
ethic, willing to pitch in whenever and wherever needed -Excellent references
