Summer 2012 Internships
|
|
Description:
|
Hampton is excited to be
offering paid internship opportunities to college students for the summer
of 2012. The objective is to offer real work experience to people
interested in working specifically in the forest products and/or
manufacturing industries. In turn, we believe the internship experience
provides Hampton with a chance to get to know a student and his or her
capabilities.
Scope:
Hampton's internships are intended to take place over the summer break
for a period of 1-3 months with an average work week of 40 hours. The
length of each project will be determined by an intern's availability and
the scope of the work to be done. Projects for each position are under
development and will be matched to provide students with the optimum
learning opportunity. Goals and oversight will be provided by an assigned
mentor or mentor group.
Opportunities being considered in the following departments:
Engineering
Sales
Information Technology
Finance/Accounting
This is a paid internship and also offers paid housing and meal expenses.
